Seeking and Searching for the Fullest Experience of Christ

From my personal experience in following the Lord and His leading, the one thing that I have found is that a genuine ministry spontaneously causes me to love the Lord Jesus and to suffer for Him and His Body. It is a funny thought, how those who aren’t receiving from the genuine ministry are never harassed, questioned, or persecuted for following the Lord Jesus Christ. A verse that I have enjoyed many times is John 15:20 where the Lord says, “Remember the word which I said to you, a slave is not greater that his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will persecute you also.” From this word I would say many so called Christians or believers are not experiencing the Jesus Christ everyday in their living because there is no response from those around them.

From an early age, I discovered that there is really no such thing as a secret Christian. After I received the Lord, I found that every Christian evangelist and minister that I listened to publicly spoke about Christ. I subscribed to many Pentecostal, Non-denominational, and Messianic speakers to receive the hearing of Christ. My dilemma was that everyone I went to hear or see had some Christ, but an incomplete Christ. Even as a young Christian, I could tell that many pastors and ministers who had been saved for 30 years seemed to speak in a low way and my heart longed for the meat of the word that would bring me to maturity (Heb. 6:1). I finally found this maturity in the writings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee.
